Lucky Lembit and his meaty delight.

It seems having a healthy dose of Daily Mail everyday is better than reading the actual news on the frontpage lately. I have refrained from reading prime newspaper for a while simply because of the recent heavy and non-sense propaganda for the masses. Hence reading good tabloids shall keep me sane again and of course who wants to read shitty local tabloids such as this.

Anyway, I didn’t give a damn knowing any of British MPs but this piece of news is quite worthy to read. Rumours said MP Lembit Opik is currently dating one of Ultimo (previously Wonderbra) model Katie Green who is 23 years his junior. In fact Lembit is supporting her ‘Say No To Size Zero’ campaign to stop unhealthily thin models appearing on the catwalk. I wonder what potion he used to cling with Katie. It’s quite surprising if we were to compare the wealth between the Brits and some 3rd world politicians, I think the latter have chunkier pockets to shower around.

Sigh, One last thing from Josh Friedman

By now most of you have heard the news that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (T:SCC ) is cancelled. I received a call earlier today from Peter Roth at Warner Bros. and I appreciate both his personal and professional support throughout this show’s life. I know a lot of you are angry about the cancellation and want to find a place to direct your anger and to that I say do yourself a favor and find a way to move past it. Every network wants a big fat hit, especially one with a brand name behind it, and Fox was/is no different. They supported the show, they supported my vision of the show, and they gave it plenty of time to find an audience.
And what an audience we found: passionate, intelligent, kind of nuts in a good way. My only complaint about the T:SCC fans is that there aren’t ten million of them. But I prefer to be happy for the ones we had instead of lamenting the ones we didn’t.

Good shows are cancelled every year; smart shows, worthy shows, shows which move their viewers to write blogs and have viewing parties and create action figures and bury executives’ email accounts under thousands of messages. I miss Deadwood and The Wire and Arrested Development but thank God that I still have Rescue Me and The Office and a recently renewed Party Down written by ex-T:SCC writer John Enbom.

Bad shows are cancelled, too. And certainly there are those who did not like what we did and had their own vision for what a Terminator TV show should be. It’s easy to look at low ratings or cancellation as “failure” and for those who believe we’ve gone about this all wrong I’m sure today’s news will only serve to confirm a world view that I would never try to change. We’ve written the show as best we can, executed it to the best of our abilities, and sent it out in the world knowing that we worked out asses off to do something that wouldn’t be a waste of anybody’s forty-three minutes.

Thanks to a brave and talented cast, a feature crew working on a TV schedule, and everyone else who I could list but won’t because they know who they are. Mostly I’d like to thank those of you who’ve supported us and fought for us and given up hours of your life to watch our show. At the end of the day, that’s what it’s about. The watching.
Hope we do it again soon.

Oh, Takako can cook?

April 1, 2009 at 12:43 am | In Eye Candy, Women are from Venus, Zippy Update | 6 Comments

Takako Kitahara spun in my head again when I found her never seen before cooking video in youtube yesterday. Although she has retired from the scene last year, the internet seems disapproves her departure. From my observation she’s a bad cook maybe her talent is not suited there, besides cooking skills can be learnt, right?

An Israeli air raid in America ?

February 15, 2009 at 4:24 pm | In Copy & Paste, Macro Politics, Women are from Venus | 11 Comments

It’s Bar Rafaeli, the first Israeli supermodel ever made on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue front cover. Her name has become a household sensation and prior to her front cover debut, her picture covered a Boeing 737 of Southwest Airlines recently. As far as I remember there was not even one of the SI front cover girls made into commercial jet cover except for Bar. She’s currently dating actor Leonardo DiCaprio and once linked to a professional surfer Kelly Slater. How coincidence, Leo former girlfriend Gisele Bündchen also once associated with Kelly Slater too. Both Gisele and Bar are supermodel and what made me surprised is that Bar is barely 23 years old (note: Gisele is turning 29 this year) while her status and career is progressing mad like IDF forces raging towards innocent Palestinian children. Well, we all acknowledged that Jews around the world have dominated most of our modern day consumption. You name it Intel, Google, Coca Cola and etc. We are living in an era where we often bumped into jewish goods including Bar Rafaeli. To sum up, she is in the limelight where her popularity level is equivalent to the current Gaza Strip tension.

Keeley Hazell is saving the mother earth

August 24, 2008 at 10:15 pm | In Eye Candy, Women are from Venus | 6 Comments

We are in the age where most people are aware the importance of treasuring mother earth instead of hopping to the top being a capitalist. Even celebrities and public figures are not excluded. Speaking of them, I found an amusing youtube clip of a well known lass being interviewed about saving the planet. Believe it or not, it’s Keeley Hazell giving her thoughtful opinions instead of her usual appearance in Page 3. I was quite stimulated by her in depth knowledge answering those questions and it seems she’s quite a brainer compared to her fellow colleague Lucy Pinder.

Well, if that’s the case, our Ms. Keeley shouldn’t worry too much to woo her more intellectual fans (and future fans) to become more environmentally cautious from now on.

Yeah, let’s save the planet Keeley’s way :D
