Title : The Girl Who Wanted to be God
There are no sunsets just silence
You could see that she was true and faithless
But see through the future and forget all the lies
Black out the words for the blind have eyes
I am the girl who wanted to be God
I am the girl who wanted to be God
There are times when you feel hopeless
Just for once for no-one else we are blameless
The dawn is still breaking its heaven is so high
She told the truth, told the truth and then she lied
I am the girl who wanted to be God
I am the girl who wanted to be God
Hold me she said love me to death
I am the girl who wanted to be God
I am the girl who wanted to be God
I am the girl who wanted to be God
I am the girl who wanted to be God
I pulled something random again, I love randomness, lol. The song was inspired from the title of chapter one in Anne Stevenson’s, ‘Bitter Fame: A life of Sylivia Plath’. Sylvia Plath is a poet (author of the Ariel poems) who explored holocaust imagery. She committed suicide on February 11th, 1963. Anyway, only now I just realised this song may intended as indirect sarcasm to this controversial poet. FYI my sister bought Manics album which included this song 11 years ago, yeah I know I’m such a slow-mo.

It is confirmed that the popular japanese voice actress Aya Hirano already set her foot on Malaysian soil according to the her recent blog update and also one of her fans blog, Hashihime. She probably still in Malaysia and local fans have launched a massive Aya-hunt just to meet their favourite voice actress in person. Yeah, God knows.

I’m not really a fan of malay TV series on the terrestrial channel. Local production often showed they are lacking the ability of writing good plot as well as the script which brings the formulation in producing good TV series. Hence you will find an abundant of stereotyped and typical stories portraying the “rich and famous/infamous”, not really funny comedy recycling lame jokes and over exposed drama actor and actresses such as Fasha Sandha. Believe it or not, among these lowly rated shows, there is a malay TV series which I think worth watching and sets a different perspectives although it was locally produced. It’s hard for me to say this but I’ve been following ‘Goda’ since its debut last month. Honestly, it gave me the impression of ‘Hitch’ and ‘Gossip Girl’ done in malay version.

Yeah, he is back in the scene after 10 years of absence. Who would have thought that he could bounce back in the recent by-election? Hmm, I rather wait for this coming 16th September for the real answer.
