Well, this is another Crichton’s sci-fi that I managed to finish rightly after ‘Next’. Something worth to read if you are into nanotechnology and as usual Crichton’s style is always putting a great disaster after a groundbreaking innovation in the history of mankind. Woops, no spoiler here. Anyway go read it yourself to know more.
p/s : Michael Crichton died unexpectedly of throat cancer on November 4, 2008 at the age of 66 (yes, he was smoker). To think that I finished his last book ‘Next’ few days before his death, yeah how mysterious.
ASIMO fever is back in town

Finally, the moment that I have been waiting for has arrived, the most advanced humanoid robot in the world, Honda ASIMO finally made a showdown at 1 Utama Shopping Centre. I was supposed to post this entry last week, but what the hell, I was busy and tired with my life commitment. I didn’t give a damn to update my blog just for the sake of “Hey, I updated my blog, you should read it now!” you know.
Anyway, I went to see the ASIMO together with my family. It’s been quite a while since our last family outing. My parents and my sister were anxious to see the Honda’s humanoid robot in action. It was my first time too seeing this robot live and so close that this is definitely something worth to check out. As far as I remember this is the third time ASIMO visiting Malaysia.

I just finished reading this book towards the end of the holy month of Ramadan. A very much recommended casual reading material by Michael Crichton if you are interested in genetic research, transgenic animals, corporate greed and legal interventions. Even a layman like me who doesn’t know much about genetic engineering can digest the content without difficulty. Anyway, since the big day is just around the corner, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Eid ul-Fitr and may you be blessed with peace, faith and happiness.
